Women’s Ministry Directorate Donates To Nana Afrakoma On Her 60th Anniversary

The Women’s Ministry Directorate of The Church of Pentecost, led by Mrs Philomina Mireku, visited the Akwamuman Royal Palace on September 13, 2024, to congratulate Nana Afrakoma II, the Queen of Akwamuman, on the 60th anniversary of her reign. Nana Afrakoma became queen at the age of 18 and is recognised as the leader of all Queen Mothers in Ghana due to her extensive experience and peaceful leadership. During their visit to the Agormanya Area of the church, the Directorate took the opportunity to visit the queen at her palace. Downtown-Ofaakor Area Women’s Ministry Hosts ‘The Complete Woman’ Series

The Downtown-Ofaakor Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost hosted the ‘Complete Woman’ TV series on August 1, 2024. With an overwhelming attendance, the women fraternity of the area gave a resounding welcome to the Women’s Ministry Director, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, and her deputy, Deaconess Vivian Amfo. The event, hosted by Deaconess Gloria Amefa Amenyo, discussed the subject, “An Unleashed Woman Living a Flourishing Life Through Personal Devotions.” Panellists shared their biblical findings, views, and experiences with the audience. The Women’s Director of The Church of Pentecost, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, paid a visit to the Nii Boiman District in the Kaneshie Area as part of the National Women’s Week celebration. Deaconess Mireku who was welcomed into the district by the Kaneshie Area Women’s Ministry leader, Deaconess Afua Owusua Danso, and the District Women’s Ministry executives encouraged the women not to allow the ban on drumming and noise making to discourage them from actively participating in the week’s activities. GHACOE Women’s Ministry Supports Apostle Ntumy’s Funeral

The Ghana Congress on Evangelisation (GHACOE) Women’s Ministry, a non-denominational Christian organisation, has donated 500 pieces of 250ml liquid soaps to The Church of Pentecost towards the funeral of Apostle Dr Michael Kwabena Ntumy. Apostle Dr Ntumy, a former Chairman of The Church of Pentecost and President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), passed away on December 27, 2023. His memorial and funeral service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the forecourt of the State House. Women’s Ministry Donates To Adabraka Polyclinic

The Adabraka District Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, on Friday, December 29, 2023, donated items worth over GHS 10,000 to the Adabraka Polyclinic in Accra. Leading the team, Pastor Emmanuel Osei Agyapong, the District Minister, noted that the donation was made with the ‘Possessing the Nations’ agenda of the Church in mind, which seeks to influence every sphere of life with Kingdom Values and Principles. Items presented to the hospital included a Pulse Oximeter, Suction machine, Cotton wool, Methylated spirit, Diapers, Washing powder/Detergent, Liquid soap, and some food items. Report by Frank Appiah
