Last week, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) was preparing to come out with new rates. This was a result of what they said is the increasing fuel prices amid its attendant hardship suffered in the current economic downturn. But even before the union could announce the new fares, a popular long-distance transport service VIP Jeoun says it is unable to shoulder the operational cost accompanying the current developments. On its Facebook page, the service provider has curated a list of updated prices for travellers across the country.
