The National Music Committee (NMC) of The Church of Pentecost has organised a one-day seminar for singers, instrumentalists and sound engineers/technicians in the Assin Foso and Twifo Praso areas of the Church. The event, which took place at the Foso Station Central Assembly auditorium on Saturday, August 6, 2022, is part of scheduled activities initiated by the NMC to build the capacity of musicians and sound technicians in the Church in the quest to “possess the nations” through music. Beginning this year, members of The Church of Pentecost worldwide will celebrate a week-long experience with the Holy Spirit dubbed: ‘Pentecost Week’ to mark the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the early disciples of Jesus Christ. As such, Monday, May 30 to Sunday, June 5, 2022, has been set aside to celebrate the power of the Holy Spirit at all local assemblies of the church worldwide. The Day of Pentecost marks fifty days since Easter Day and brings the Easter season to an end. Pentecost Preparatory School – Sawla Records 100% Pass In BECE

All seven students of the Pentecost Preparatory School, Sawla (PPS) who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) last year have successfully passed. The PPS-Sawla is one of the few among the 43 Junior High Schools in the Sawla District to record a 100% pass in the final year examination. The seven candidates are currently awaiting placement in the second-cycle institutions. Mr Emmanuel Ekaatey, the Headmaster of the School, disclosed this in an interview with PENTECOST NEWS at Sawla.
