The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has, on behalf of the entire membership of the church, commended seven members of the Executive Council of the church for their devoted service to God and the church, as their terms of service come to an end this year. The seven, popularly described as the ‘7 Great,’ have been on the Council, which is responsible for the administration of The Church of Pentecost, for various years. They are Apostles Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng, Samuel Osei Asante, and Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, all serving for 10 years. Out of this number, 351,981 new converts joined The Church of Pentecost, while 80,489 opted to fellowship with other Christian denominations—largely due to existing affiliations or geographical proximity. This milestone was achieved through a record 461,844 evangelistic outreaches, marking an 18.3% increase from the 390,545 outreaches conducted in 2023.
