After many days and months of waiting, the much-anticipated All Ministers’ Conference, a non-denominational conference for Ghanaian ministers of the gospel, has kick-started at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh, near Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana. Close to 500 different Christian denominations are being represented at the historic conference which officially opened today, September 14, and will end on Friday, September 16, 2022. President Akufo-Addo has directed that all official flags should fly at half-mast beginning Friday for seven days to honour the death of Queen Elizabeth. All unregistered SIM cards to be blocked for 2days each week till September ending

From Monday, September 5, 2022, mobile network subscribers in Ghana who have still not re-registered their SIM cards and has done only stage one re-registration will start receiving punitive actions including the blocking of all their outgoing calls and data services for 48 hours (2 days) per week. This will be done in a sequential batch of numbers on a rotational basis weekly as a second punitive measure. The first punitive measure includes re-routing of all outgoing calls for a message to be played before all calls go through everyday.
