More than 6,400 Ghanaian students studied in the United States in the 2022-2023 academic year, according to a report published by Open Doors published today, Monday, November 13, 2023. NSMQ mistress Elsie Kaufmann launches foundation to promote STEM

The National Science and Maths Quiz mistress, Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann has launched a not-for-profit foundation to enhance Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Ghana. The foundation, Elsie Effah Kaufmann Foundation (EEKF), seeks to help bridge the current deficit in STEM related programmes in Ghana by providing the necessary tools needed for a thorough and practical study of the subjects. The EEKF would also provide training for science teachers to better equip them for the teaching of the subject in a way that would inspire the students to further in STEM courses.
