GPCC-StarLife Assurance Supports Pentecost Hospital

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPSS) in partnership with StarLife Assurance, an insurance company has donated some equipment and suppliers to support the maternity ward of the Pentecost hospital. The items include syringes, bedspreads, sterilizers, cotton gauze, thermometers, cleaning detergents, packs of tissues, and among others.  The donation which forms part of GPCC and Starlife Assurance's social responsibilities also intended to complement the just-ended Mother’s Day celebration.  Speaking to the media at a brief ceremony to present the items, the General Secretary of GPCC, Apostle Immanuel Nii Okuley Tettey explained that the Pentecost hospital was not selected exclusively for the donation. GIZ, Group donate equipment worth €27,000 to Pentecost Hospital

THE German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Appointed Time, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group of Companies,  have donated laboratory equipment worth over €27,000 (¢317,000) to the Pentecost Hospital at Madina in the Greater Accra Region. The donation was to fulfil a request by the management of the hospital to meet the demand of services from growing number of patients who visit the facility daily. Presenting the equipment to the hospital on behalf of GIZ and Jospong Group, the Chief Corporate Communication Officer at Jospong Group of Companies, Sophia Kudjordji, said the donation was to help management address the pressure on the facility. Pentecost Hospital Rated High By International Body

The Pentecost Hospital in Madina, Accra has been rated among the top four mission hospitals in Ghana by PharmAccess, an international agency that accredits health organisations for improving patient care. The hospital, fully owned by The Church of Pentecost, achieved a SafeCare Level 4 certification for providing quality healthcare and upholding international best practices. The other three mission hospitals which fall under the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) that achieved the SafeCare Level 4 certification are St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Foso, Holy Family Hospital in Techiman and St. Joseph Hospital in Nkwanta in the Oti Region.
