
“More Blessed To Give Than To Receive” — Chairman Defends Church’s Social Interventions
The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has reiterated that the Church’s growing investment in national infrastructure and community development is not a show of affluence, but a faithful expression of biblical values.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Pentecost Fire Station on May 14, 2025, Apostle Nyamekye quoted Acts 20:35: “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” emphasising that the Church's developmental projects stem from a Christ-centred mission, not from financial surplus.
“We are doing all these not because we have in abundance,” he explained, “but to demonstrate the love of Christ and contribute meaningfully to national growth.”
