In a recent announcement, Twitter revealed that a small group of writers from Ghana are joining others from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to test the latest feature from the social media platform, “Notes”. Notes is a new way to write and publish long-form content on the social media platform, and will give your favourite writers on Twitter the chance to go beyond 280 characters for the first time, using a rich-text editor to capture articles, thought pieces, and other kinds of content. WHO to convene on June 23 to decide if monkeypox presents health emergency

The Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has announced he would convene an emergency committee meeting on Thursday, June 23 to assess the implication of the outbreak of the monkeypox virus. Ghana has been ranked the Number One country in Africa with the fastest internet speed. In a global index for fastest internet speed, Ghana’s internet was ranked the fastest on the African country, ahead of South Africa and Egypt. Ghana was ranked 79th in the world, with a speed of 53.28 mbps, which is the fastest in Africa.
