As part of their reward for winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Cote d'Ivoire will take home a cash prize of $7 million. The Elephants came from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory in the final of the competition against Nigeria on Sunday night. William Troost-Ekong opened the scoring for the Super Eagles before second-half strikes from Franck Kessie and Sebastien Haller sealed the win for the host nation.
