20 million seedlings to be planted under GreenGhana project – Lands Minister

Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor has stated that over 20 million seedlings will be planted this year under the GreenGhana project. According to the Minister, these will comprise both economic and commercial seedlings. Five cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in the Eastern, Western and Greater Accra regions, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) says. One of the cases was recorded in a Ghanaian who travelled to the United States of America from Ghana. Ghana and Denmark have signed a renewed agreement designed to deploy modern technology on the Volta Lake to determine safe navigational channels to reduce accidents and their attendant deaths. The agreement is part of the third phase of the Strategic Sector Collaboration (SSC) between the two countries in the maritime sector.
