
NSA Explains Decision To Deny Hearts Of Oak Access To Accra Sports Stadium
Hearts of Oak have been left scrambling for a venue once again after the National Sports Authority (NSA) denied them access to the Accra Sports Stadium for their Ghana Premier League clash against Nations FC.
The Phobians had hoped to return to their traditional home ground, but the NSA rejected their request, citing two key reasons. First, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) publicly announced the venue without securing official approval.
Second, Hearts of Oak’s request came too late, making it impossible to complete the necessary protocols.
With their home venue at the University of Ghana Stadium also closed for renovations ahead of the CAF African Schools Football Championship, Hearts of Oak have been forced to settle for the Tuba Astroturf for Wednesday’s game.
