The Twifo Praso District Women’s Ministry in the Twifo Praso Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised a special dinner to honour mothers in the District.
The event, which climaxed the 2026 National Women’s Week celebration, coincided with the observance of Mother’s Day on May 10, 2026. It was held at the Asikafo Church Auditorium and was sponsored by some benevolent members of the church.
Speaking in a short interview, Mrs. Abigail Addobea Larbi explained that the programme was organised to appreciate mothers for their invaluable contributions to humanity, encourage them to continue supporting their families and the church, and also provide them with an opportunity to relax and fellowship after enduring demanding responsibilities.
The programme featured musical performances by the Amazing Choir, the Children’s Ministry choir from the Twifo Praso Mt. Olives Assembly, as well as the Twifo Praso District Mass Choir, who thrilled participants with inspiring ministration.
Delivering a brief exhortation, Pastor Frank Larbi read from Proverbs 31:28-29 and verse 31. He commended mothers for their dedication, sacrifice, and selflessness in nurturing their children and supporting their families. He further congratulated them for their unwavering love and commitment to both the church and society.
Present at the programme were Deaconess Agnes Donkoh, Deaconess Sheila Odei, and Mrs. Sarah Ofori, among other dignitaries.
