The Abuakwa Area of The Church of Pentecost has commissioned an ultra-modern Area Office Complex to serve as the administrative hub of the Area.
The two-storey facility was officially dedicated by the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, on Friday, May 1, 2026, in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The project, which began in 2023 under the visionary leadership of the Abuakwa Area Head, Apostle John Appiah Aidoo, was completed within a record period of two-and-a-half years.
The new area office comprises eight offices, four bedrooms, main conference room, mini conference room, reception, kitchenette, kitchen, storage room, and eleven washrooms.
At a brief dedication ceremony, Apostle Dr Nyamekye committed the facility to the glory of God and commended the leadership and members of the Abuakwa Area for their tremendous support in bringing the project to fruition.
He further urged stakeholders to cultivate a strong maintenance culture to ensure the longevity of the facility.
The vision for the project was conceived following the realisation that the former Area office was inadequate to accommodate the growing administrative demands of the Area. Sod-cutting for the commencement of the project was performed by the Chairman of the Church, Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, on 16th August 2023. The foundation stone was laid by the General Secretary, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, on 1st August 2025.
The newly commissioned office complex is expected to provide a permanent and efficient base for administrative operations within the Abuakwa Area.
Present at the dedication service were Apostles Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe (La Area Head/Executive Council Member), Peter Kofi Dzemekey (Asokwa Area Head/Executive Council Member and Ashanti RCC Coordinator), Benjamin Quaye Ofei-Badu ( HUM National Coordinator), Area Heads in the Ashanti Region, including Prophet Samuel Tetteh Doku, Apostles James Oko Banor, Michael Agyen Brefo, Victor Kwasi Asamoah, Daniel Yeboah Nsaful, Pastors Wellington Vigbedor and George Ankoma with their wives.
Also present to grace the occasion were the chiefs and people of the area and the MCE of Atwima Nwabiagya, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah.
