Koforidua Technical University student wins USA Cooking competition in Ghana
A Culinary Arts student of the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region has won this year’s National cooking competition held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
Victoria Armah, a Level 200 student beat nine other contestants, also Technical University students, to win the ultimate prize.
She will benefit from a four-month internship package at the Labadi Beach Hotel, as part of her prize. She also received a hamper and culinary training kits.
The biannual National Cooking Competition which was Organised by the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council for Technical Universities across the country, seeks to build an exquisite human capital to man the country’s fast growing hospitality industry.
