The Black Satellites players form the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winning campaign have been invited to collect their matured investment cheques by the SAS Finance Group. The financial institution wrote to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to notify the players following the maturity of the 15-year investment made on behalf of the team. The investment was made on behalf of the playing body by the Ministry of Youth and Sports after successfully winning the competition which was played in Egypt. A total of GHS 210,000 was made on behalf of the 21 players who were called up for the tournament by head Selas Tetteh with each player allocated GHS 10,000 by the MoYS in 2009. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the Northern Region has condemned Napari Suheru for assaulting a female referee during a Division 1B football match near the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on June 17, 2023. The Northern Regional Football Association Secretary, Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim described Mr. Suheru as a lovely person who is well-known in the footballing fraternity in the region and so it came as a surprise when news of his actions broke out. GFA secures attachment offers for local coaches

The Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has brokered a deal with three European clubs, namely: Borussia Dortmund, Darmstadt FC and TSG Hoffeinheim for attachment opportunities for Ghanaian coaches. This follows deep engagements between the Technical Director, Bernhard Lippert, and the three German clubs in the last few months. The arrangement will give national team coaches (male and female) and top coaches in the top tier League the opportunity to have practical stints with the clubs at different times to broaden their horizon and also equip them with the modern trends of the game.
