Kpasenkpe District Fetes 75 Widows
In a colourful event organised by the Kpasenkpe District of The Church of Pentecost, 75 widows were feted by the church to end the 2024 Christmas season.
The event, held at the Kpasenkpe Central Assembly church building, was intended to put smiles on the faces of the widows and demonstrate the love of Christ to them.
The District Minister, Pastor Ernest Kojo Akorli, speaking on the theme: ‘Widowed but not Forsaken,’ emphasised that the love of Christ must be extended to all people, especially the needy, the marginalised, and all unreached people groups.
Reading from Psalm 27:10, he stressed that widows go through a lot of rejection, pain, and ill-treatment, but the Lord loves them.
