West Ham United fans are increasingly calling for Mohammed Kudus to be handed a starting berth in the team following his impressive start to life in East London. The Ghana international is yet to start a game in the Premier League but has been included in the starting lineup on two occasions, both in cup competitions. Kudus started against TSC Topola in West Ham's opening game in the Europa League and scored twice on the evening at home but has been used from the bench in the Premier League games. The full list of the 24 teams to participate in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has been confirmed now. This was after the final round of qualifying games were concluded on Tuesday, with Cameroon and Namibia the last teams to book their slots. Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamkloe, has called on Division One League side King Faisal to take their injunction against the 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) Elective Congress from court. Last Monday, King Faisal and its lawyer filed the motion in the Accra High Court. They contend that the GFA’s statutes prohibit a legal Congress from convening to elect the GFA President until the new members or representatives of the Executive Committee have been duly elected.
