The Black Satellites players form the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winning campaign have been invited to collect their matured investment cheques by the SAS Finance Group. The financial institution wrote to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to notify the players following the maturity of the 15-year investment made on behalf of the team. The investment was made on behalf of the playing body by the Ministry of Youth and Sports after successfully winning the competition which was played in Egypt. A total of GHS 210,000 was made on behalf of the 21 players who were called up for the tournament by head Selas Tetteh with each player allocated GHS 10,000 by the MoYS in 2009.
