The Coordinator for the Schools Outreach Ministry (SOM) of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Frank Mensah Tandoh, has concluded a weeklong working tour of some basic schools in the Greater Accra Region. During his visit, he conducted grassroots leadership training and participated in inter-circuit sports competitions in several areas, including Haatso, Kasoa, Achimota, and Tema. The Black Satellites players form the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winning campaign have been invited to collect their matured investment cheques by the SAS Finance Group. The financial institution wrote to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to notify the players following the maturity of the 15-year investment made on behalf of the team. The investment was made on behalf of the playing body by the Ministry of Youth and Sports after successfully winning the competition which was played in Egypt.
