The Women’s Director of The Church of Pentecost, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, paid a visit to the Nii Boiman District in the Kaneshie Area as part of the National Women’s Week celebration. Deaconess Mireku who was welcomed into the district by the Kaneshie Area Women’s Ministry leader, Deaconess Afua Owusua Danso, and the District Women’s Ministry executives encouraged the women not to allow the ban on drumming and noise making to discourage them from actively participating in the week’s activities. Over 11,000 sex workers, drug addicts reformed by Church of Pentecost in 2023

A total of 11,142 commercial sex workers and drug addicts are believed to have been reformed by The Church of Pentecost in 2023 under its Home and Urban Mission (HUM). The figure comprises 1,069 commercial sex workers and 10,073 drug addicts. HUM is a ministry of the Church with the goal of reaching out to all marginalized and unreached groups with the gospel. The leadership of The Church of Pentecost has honoured people who have served the church in various capacities at the national level. The Chairman of the church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, presented certificates of service and other packages to the reviewed officers during the opening ceremony of the 18th Session of the Extraordinary Council Meeting, held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
