Over 11,000 sex workers, drug addicts reformed by Church of Pentecost in 2023

A total of 11,142 commercial sex workers and drug addicts are believed to have been reformed by The Church of Pentecost in 2023 under its Home and Urban Mission (HUM). The figure comprises 1,069 commercial sex workers and 10,073 drug addicts. HUM is a ministry of the Church with the goal of reaching out to all marginalized and unreached groups with the gospel. The Asokwa District of The Church of Pentecost on Sunday, October 29, 2023, embarked on a convoy evangelism in the principal streets of Asokwa in Kumasi to observe Gospel Sunday. The event, according to the District Minister, Pastor Joseph Asamoah Boakye, was to propagate the Gospel message of Christ in a restructured approach to save the perishing.
