Pentecost University held its 13th Congregation on Saturday 18th December 2021. The colorful ceremony came off at the University’s main campus in Sowutuom in Accra, the capital town of Ghana. In delivering the welcome address, the Chancellor of the University and Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye congratulated the students on their achievements. Aps. The International Missions Director (IMD) of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang-Bekoe, has commended the Gbegbeyise District in the Dansoman Area for their support towards Missions work. Apostle Bekoe said this today when he received three brand new motorbikes on behalf of the Missions Office from the Gbegbesiye District Minister, Pastor Vincent Donkoh, during a brief presentation ceremony at the Church’s Headquarters at La in Accra. An ICT Center and Library Facility has been dedicated by Aps. K. B. Antwi, the Ejisu Area Head of The Church at a short ceremony in Kwaso. The ICT and Library Facility was co-sponsored by The Church of Pentecost, Kwaso District and Compassion International at a cost of One Hundred and Seventy Ghana Cedis (GHS 170,000.00) to help train the youth and children to acquire basic knowledge in computing and information technology and also provide space in relation to a library for others to get a conducive place for learning. The Downtown District of the Church of Pentecost headed by Pastor Andrews Owusu has charged Christians to maintain their genuine faith in God. He made this remark when over fifty children from Sunday School transited to the Youth Ministry last weekend. Ps. Owusu admonished them to stick to the teachings they have received from Sunday School which is sound for both physical and spiritual growth. Grandaunts were given certificates and other gifts.
