The Church Of Pentecost Chairman Joins President Akufo-Addo To Plant 20 Million Trees

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, on Friday, June 10, 2022, joined the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and other high-profile personalities to mark the ‘Green Ghana Day,’ which is targeted at planting 20 million trees across the country. At a ceremony held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra to mark the day, the President, some Ministers of State, Apostle Nyamekye, and the Ga Mantse, among others planted ceremonial trees to initiate this year’s project. German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund today started the first leg of a historic five-day tour of the country with a coaching clinic at the Achimota School Park in Accra. The clinic which was the second event on Dortmund's schedule after their arrival on Wednesday, saw youth coaches and legends of the German club put the youngsters from Shooting Stars FC through their paces. 20 million seedlings to be planted under GreenGhana project – Lands Minister

Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor has stated that over 20 million seedlings will be planted this year under the GreenGhana project. 5 cases of monkeypox confirmed in Ghana

Five cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in the Eastern, Western and Greater Accra regions, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) says. One of the cases was recorded in a Ghanaian who travelled to the United States of America from Ghana. One dead, others injured as car drives into pedestrians

At least one person has been killed and eight others injured after a car drove into a crowd on a busy Berlin street. Emergency officials say it is unclear whether the incident, which happened at around 10:30 local time (08:30 GMT), was intentional or an accident. Ghana, Denmark renew agreement for safety on Volta Lake

Ghana and Denmark have signed a renewed agreement designed to deploy modern technology on the Volta Lake to determine safe navigational channels to reduce accidents and their attendant deaths.
