The Change In Us Must Be Tangible – Christians Charged

Spread the love

The transformation (change) in every believer’s life must be both tangible and visible to the world, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, has urged.

He made this assertion today during a presentation on the rationale behind the 2025 theme at the opening session of the Ministers and Wives Conference for the Volta and Oti regions in Ho.

Speaking on the theme “Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling,” Apostle Obuobi highlighted the profound transformation seen in the life of Apostle Paul after his conversion to Christianity.

He emphasized that such a change should be clearly evident, referencing Galatians 4:1 to underscore that Paul’s conversion was so visible that it could not be denied.

“Until we reach a point where people can see the changes in us and give glory to God, we have not fully arrived,” he stated.

Apostle Obuobi also reminded the gathered ministers and wives that the Church’s mission extends beyond the transformation of individual lives; it also encompasses the transformation of society as a whole.

He urged them to ensure that every member is familiar with key Scripture passages supporting the theme for this year, specifically Ephesians 4:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, and Galatians 1:24.

Expounding on Ephesians 4:1, Apostle Obuobi referenced Chapter 3, where the Apostle Paul prays for God’s glory to remain in the church from one generation to the next. He stressed that for this to happen, believers must live lives worthy of their calling.

Drawing from Ezekiel 10:18 and 11:22-23, he warned that the glory of God can be lost in a generation and, thus, challenged ministers and their wives to guard against this within The Church of Pentecost.

Apostle Obuobi also reminded them that their calling is both a heavenly and holy one, demanding that they live in accordance with the life worthy of the calling they have received.
