The Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in the Ashanti Bekwai Area has visited inmates at the Ejura Local Prisons, donating assorted food items, drinks, and toiletries valued at approximately GH₵12,000.00.
The delegation included the Area Women’s Ministry Executives, the Area Prisons Coordinator, Pastor Eric Amankwah, and the Area Secretary, Pastor Samuel Abil Asoandek.
During the visit, which took place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Pastor Amankwah delivered a brief sermon titled “No Jesus, No Life.” Drawing from 1 John 5:12, he told the inmates that Jesus provides answers to life’s challenges and that God offers hope even in seemingly hopeless situations. He urged them to commit their lives to Christ.
The Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Elizabeth Asiamah, also encouraged the inmates to view their current circumstances as a stepping stone toward a better future. The Assistant Area Women’s Leader, Deaconess Georgina Osei Bonsu, subsequently prayed for the inmates.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the facility, Superintendent Kwame George Ntumi expressed appreciation to the church for its continued support and positive impact on society. He also appealed to other churches and organisations to emulate the gesture.
