56 Slaves In Pakistan Run To Jesus Christ

On May 28, 2023, 56 enslaved people from the brick line factory in Shakhopura, Pakistan, surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and allowed themselves to be baptised in water. The Church of Pentecost, Pakistan, which led the outreach, presented Urdu Bibles to the new converts to help them learn more about Jesus Christ. The Church also gave them meals. The Church of Pentecost team often visits the brick line factory to worship with them. The people have been enslaved for generations since their forefathers had a debt that was becoming unbearable for them, and the outcome was slavery. Berekum Area Tops The Church Of Pentecost Ranking

The Berekum Area of The Church of Pentecost emerged as the top-performing administrative area of the Church in 2022. Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the Chairman of the Church, announced this at the 46th General Council Meetings of the Church held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh, held from May 3-5, 2023. The Offinso and Obuasi Areas followed closely behind Berekum, retaining their impressive rankings from 2021. The Asankragwa, Dunkwa, Nkwanta, Kete-Krachi, Suame, Nkawkaw, and Yendi areas comprised the top ten. The Church of Pentecost has re-elected Apostle Eric Nyamekye to serve as its Chairman for the next five years. This historic event took place during the Church’s 46th General Council Meetings on Thursday, May 4, 2023, where Apostle Nyamekye secured an overwhelming majority of the votes, winning1,255 ‘YES’ votes out of the 1,262 total votes cast, representing 99.45%.
