VRA awards scholarships to 61 students

The Volta River Authority (VRA) has awarded full scholarships to 61 needy students from communities impacted by its operations. The GH¢800,000 scholarship covers payments of the tuition and hostel fees of the students who have gained admission to study at the various tertiary institutions such as the University of Education, Winneba, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Cape Coast, the University of Health and Allied Sciences, the University of Energy and Natural Resources, technical universities, Colleges of Education and the Nursing Training Colleges.
