The Evangelism Ministry of Ho Dome District in the Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost, on May 17, 2025, visited the Ho Central Prisons and donated assorted items to the facility as part of the National Evangelism Ministry's Week Celebration. The church donated bags of rice, sachet water, assorted drinks, toiletries, sanitary pads, fish, among others, to the inmates. Present were the District Minister, Pastor Mawuena, Mrs Josephine Akoto and Elders Emmanuel Avornyo (Dome Central Presiding Elder) and Ebenezer Adamadu (District Evangelism Leader). The Wa Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost celebrated this year’s Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11, by extending love and support to the inmates of the Wa Central Prison. As part of the celebration, the women donated assorted essential items, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, gari, sugar, boxer shorts, and slippers, to help address some of the inmates' pressing needs.  The team received a warm welcome from the officers of the Ghana Prison Service, who expressed profound appreciation for the ministry’s continued support. Ho Area Organises Easter Convention For Prison Inmates

The Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised a three-day Easter Convention at Ho Central Prisons aimed to minister hope, redemption, and the message of Christ’s death and resurrection to the inmates and officers through worship, teachings, and humanitarian support. The convention, which took place from April 11-13, 2025, was on the theme, ‘Jesus Is Hope For Your Future’ (Jeremiah 31:17, John 11:23-26). Through prayer sessions, scripture expositions, and vibrant worship, participants were engaged in a transformative spiritual experience.
