The Koforidua Zone of The Church of Pentecost, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, joyfully concluded this year’s Easter Convention with a powerful service led by Apostle Mike Kwame Etrue, the Koforidua Area Head. Preaching the sermon on the theme, ‘He Is Risen,’ Apostle Etrue indicated that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. He affirmed that because Christ has risen, believers have a living hope and the assurance that they too shall one day be resurrected. A glorious burial and memorial service was held in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in honour of Elder Emmanuel Freeman Kofi Mireku, a retired elder of The Church of Pentecost. The service, which took place at the Koforidua Jubilee Park, was a true celebration of a life well-lived, with an atmosphere filled with joy and praises instead of sorrow.
