Elder Mireku Snr. Laid To Rest Amidst Jubilant Homage
A glorious burial and memorial service was held in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in honour of Elder Emmanuel Freeman Kofi Mireku, a retired elder of The Church of Pentecost.
The service, which took place at the Koforidua Jubilee Park, was a true celebration of a life well-lived, with an atmosphere filled with joy and praises instead of sorrow.
Elder Emmanuel Kofi Mireku, 105, was the father of the celebrated Ghanaian Gospel musician, Elder Dr Emmanuel Kwesi Mireku, known by his stage name ‘Elder Mireku.’
