The outreach, held from May 23-25, 2025, mobilised over 50 passionate and Spirit-filled young men and women who took to the streets, homes, and villages of Blagodzi and Sumaila with the gospel of Christ. The Koforidua Sector of the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) has successfully concluded its off-campus outreach as part of the end-of-semester vacation, resulting in 766 new converts and the establishment of three local assemblies. The initiative was carried out by two mission teams. The first team comprised members from the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong-Akuapem, and the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education, Aburi, who ministered in the Agormanya Area from May 3-11, 2025. The Koforidua Zone of The Church of Pentecost, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, joyfully concluded this year’s Easter Convention with a powerful service led by Apostle Mike Kwame Etrue, the Koforidua Area Head. Preaching the sermon on the theme, ‘He Is Risen,’ Apostle Etrue indicated that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. He affirmed that because Christ has risen, believers have a living hope and the assurance that they too shall one day be resurrected. A glorious burial and memorial service was held in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in honour of Elder Emmanuel Freeman Kofi Mireku, a retired elder of The Church of Pentecost. The service, which took place at the Koforidua Jubilee Park, was a true celebration of a life well-lived, with an atmosphere filled with joy and praises instead of sorrow.
