Jesus Is Lord Of Both The Living And The Dead – Apostle Dr Dieudonne Nuekpe Asserts
The La Area Head and Executive Council member of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, has said that Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension prove that He is Lord over both the dead and the living (Matthew 28:5-7).
Apostle Nuekpe made this statement during a sermon at the Easter Convention, held from April 17-20, 2025, at zonal levels, namely Alajo, La, Accra Newtown, and Abelemkpe, among others. He spoke on the theme, ‘He is Risen, that I may Live a Life Worthy of My Calling.’
Apostle Dr Nuekpe, referencing Genesis 3:17, Romans 3:23, and Romans 6:23, stated that the greatest problem in the world is sin. He explained that sin entered by world through the disobedience and fall of Adam in the garden.
