The Ashaiman Sector of the Home and Urban Missions (HUM) of The Church of Pentecost has organised a day’s conference to train selected French-speaking individuals (Ghanaians and Francophones) as church planters. The event, which took place on May 10, 2025, aims to expand evangelism efforts among Francophone migrants in Greater Accra. As part of its mandate, the Home and Urban Missions focuses on expatriates and African migrants, many of whom come from French-speaking countries. The HUM ministry strives to locate these individuals, share the gospel with them in their native languages and cultural contexts, and establish churches or cell groups to support their spiritual journey while they reside in Ghana. MO-AJ Foundation Commissions Memorial Bus Stop In Honour Of Mark Ofosu Ampadu Jnr.

The Mark Ofosu Ampadu Jnr (MO-AJ) Foundation has commissioned a bus stop in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the passing of the late Mark Ofosu Ampadu Jnr.  Mark, a vibrant young man with dreams and aspirations, tragically lost his life in a road accident at just 29 years old. He was a beloved member of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Sakumono. His untimely passing underscores the urgent need for safer roads.  The commissioning ceremony, held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the frontage of the Regional Maritime University, Nungua, was attended by several dignitaries. The church building of the Kwesiedum Assembly, under the Ekutuase District in the Elmina Area of The Church of Pentecost, has been dedicated to the glory of God. The colourful dedication service took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 and was officiated by the Elmina Area Head, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko. In his remarks, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko expressed deep gratitude to the Almighty God for bringing the project to a successful and glorious completion. “This is indeed the doing of the Lord, and it is marvellous in our eyes,” he declared. In a practical demonstration of Christian love and community support, the Senya Beraku District Minister in the Winneba Area of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Eric Owusu, and his family have donated 82 school uniforms to pupils of AME Zion A and B, and D/A ‘A’ Basic Schools at Senya Beraku in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the Kokoso District Mission House in the Agona Swedru Area of The Church of Pentecost was officially dedicated on May 9, 2025, by the Area Head, Pastor Adjei-Nimako Darkwa. The journey to this milestone began when the then Area Head, Apostle Derek Kwaning Mireku (now retired), announced at the 2022 End-of-Year Area Presbytery meeting that the Executive Council had approved the creation of the Kokoso District. To support this initiative, the Headquarters provided a grant of GHS 300,000.00 to commence the Mission House project. As part of this year’s National Evangelism Week celebration, the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) – Obuasi extended love and support to the Obuasi Local Prisons through a significant donation. The church donated a Yamaha keyboard, a guitar, and a combo amplifier to support the prison’s music initiatives. Additionally, assorted medications worth GHS 10,000.00 were presented to the prison infirmary. The donation also included 50 bags of sachet water and a variety of toiletries, bringing the total value of items donated to over GHS 23,000.00.
