Parliament passes law to criminalise accusations of witchcraft, practice of witchfinders and witch doctors

Parliament has passed a law criminalising the declaration, accusation, naming or labelling of another person as a witch in Ghana. A Culinary Arts student of the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region has won this year’s National cooking competition held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. Victoria Armah, a Level 200 student beat nine other contestants, also Technical University students, to win the ultimate prize.
