The International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), has convened in Ghana for its Annual Working Week under the theme "Your World, Our World: Resilient Environment and Sustainable Resource Management for All." The conference aims to highlight the role of geospatial technologies and innovations in ensuring a resilient environment and sustainable management of natural resources.The opening ceremony, held on May 19, 2024, was graced by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, along with other diplomatic dignitaries. Govt. Urged To Prioritize Maternal Mental Health To Manage Post-Partum Depression

A Specialist Obstetrician -Gynecologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) Dr. Nita Asamoah-Manu Gyimah, has urged the government to prioritize maternal mental health to improve the well-being of pregnant women with unstable health conditions. According to her, there is the urgent need for government and stakeholders in healthcare to prioritize maternal mental health to aid in the control of post-partum depression, stress and anxiety that exacerbates the condition of pregnant women after delivery.
