The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Oboubi, has admonished Christian leaders to strive to be servant leaders. Apostle Oboubi made this call on Sunday, August 11, 2024, when he was speaking at the farewell service of Pastor Gabriel Owusu at the Osu Central Assembly church auditorium. Delivering a sermon titled “The Christian Leader,” he underscored the essence of a good leader in all aspects of life, noting that a blind leader will lead his or her followers into a ditch. NHIA Launches Free Annual Health Check-Up Initiative

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has launched a free health screening initiative under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as part of national efforts to tackle non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and chronic conditions.  The ‘Free Annual Health Checkup’ programme will provide free health screening to all citizens. The Chief Executive Officer of the NHIA, Dr Da-Costa Aboagye, told the Daily Graphic in Accra on Wednesday that the initiative, on the theme “Addressing Non-Communicable Diseases and Chronic Diseases in Ghana”, was the preventive aspect of health care.
