As part of the recently held National Evangelism Ministry Week celebration, the Evangelism Ministry of A-Lang Worship Centre of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the Women’s Ministry, visited the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital (Akawe) in Accra. The visit, which took place on Saturday, May 16, 2025, was also in line with the Women’s Ministry’s initiative to impact lives through hospital visitations. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the Kokoso District Mission House in the Agona Swedru Area of The Church of Pentecost was officially dedicated on May 9, 2025, by the Area Head, Pastor Adjei-Nimako Darkwa. The journey to this milestone began when the then Area Head, Apostle Derek Kwaning Mireku (now retired), announced at the 2022 End-of-Year Area Presbytery meeting that the Executive Council had approved the creation of the Kokoso District. To support this initiative, the Headquarters provided a grant of GHS 300,000.00 to commence the Mission House project. The land for the project was donated by Mr Matthew Amporful, a gesture that greatly accelerated the project. As part of this year’s National Evangelism Week celebration, the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) – Obuasi extended love and support to the Obuasi Local Prisons through a significant donation. The church donated a Yamaha keyboard, a guitar, and a combo amplifier to support the prison’s music initiatives. Additionally, assorted medications worth GHS 10,000.00 were presented to the prison infirmary. The donation also included 50 bags of sachet water and a variety of toiletries, bringing the total value of items donated to over GHS 23,000.00. The Ebenezer Assembly in the Otsenkorang District of The Church of Pentecost now has a newly constructed church building, largely funded by the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Graceland. The church building, constructed at a total cost of GHS 158,550.00, was dedicated to the glory of God on May 11, 2025, in a special ceremony officiated by Pastor Adjei-Nimako Darkwa, Agona Swedru Area Head. Of the total amount, PIWC-Graceland contributed GHS 120,000.00, while the remaining funds were raised through the support of the Agona Swedru Area (GHS 31,750.00), Otsenkorang District (GHS 4,000.00), and the local assembly (GHS 2,800.00).
