Aim For The Power Of The Holy Spirit — PWDs Told

Spread the love

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) have been encouraged to seek the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit to grow strong in Christ and bear lasting fruits.

The Northern Sector Coordinator of the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs), Overseer Joshua Korku Semador, made the call during his visit to the Dung MPWDs Assembly in the Daffiama District of the Wa Area as part of the recently held 14-day Global Fasting and Prayer.

Speaking on the topic, ‘You Will Receive Power,’ with scripture references from Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:1-4, Overseer Semador stated, ‘Once God’s Spirit comes, His power will come.’

He further advised that instead of seeking non-existent ‘spiritual assistance’ from elsewhere, Persons with Disabilities should spend more time in prayer, pray in tongues, and live in total dependence on God.

Also present at the meeting were Pastor Alfred Owusu, Area MPWDs Coordinator; Overseer Andrew Akwetey, District Minister for Nator; Overseer Richmond Nimako Marfo of Kaleo District; and Overseer Daniel Takyi, District Minister for Daffiama.
