Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah, Coordinator of the Volta/Oti Regional Coordinating Council and Ho Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has urged Christians to demonstrate the transformative change that should occur when they repent and surrender their lives to Christ.

He emphasized that Christianity should not be limited to merely professing faith but must extend to all aspects of one’s life.

Speaking on the topic, “Characteristics of the Church Unleashed,” Apostle Dr. Quampah, who also serves as an Executive Council Member of the Church, expressed concern over the moral decline in Ghanaian society, despite the fact that over 70% of Ghanaians identify as Christians.

He pointed out that while the number of churches is growing rapidly in Ghana and across Africa, this growth has not been accompanied by a corresponding change in behavior or attitude. In contrast, churches in the Western world are witnessing a decline.

The Ho Area Head called on Christians to live out the values and principles of God’s kingdom in every area of their lives—whether at home, at work, or in the community. He stressed that such actions would lead to a better world.

“What the world needs are Christians with strong work ethics, good morals, and exemplary behavior to set the standard for others to follow,” he said.

Apostle Dr. Quampah noted that instead of setting a positive example, many Christians are conforming to worldly trends, contributing to the moral decay evident both in society and within the church.

He concluded by urging believers to awaken from their slumber, rise up, and take their rightful place in every sphere of society as the Church strives to impact the nations.
