A total of 104 souls were won at the ‘Senya Beraku for Christ Crusade’ organised by the Senya Beraku District of The Church of Pentecost in Winneba Area.
The converts include 88 adults and 16 children. Seventy-eight of the new converts have since been baptised in water.
The 6-day event, which began on Monday, November 18, and ended on Saturday, November 23, 2024, was spearheaded by the Senya Beraku District Minister, Pastor Eric Owusu.
Sunday, November 24, 2024, which happened to be Gospel Sunday, was earmarked for aggressive evangelism at the Senya Beraku Fort Du Hope Beach where 34 of the souls were won and baptised.
The crusade saw 31 members baptised in the Holy Spirit with countless number of participants experiencing healing and deliverance from different forms of predicaments.
Delivering the opening address on the main theme, ‘In Him is Life’ (John 1:4), Pastor Owusu expounded on the life-giving power of Jesus Christ and the need for everyone to trust in Him for hope and eternal life.
‘Jesus is life, the giver of life and in Him is life. Without Jesus, no one can receive eternal life,’ he stated.
According to him, the purpose of the crusade was ‘to bring to light Jesus Christ, the giver of life, whose death and resurrection provide eternal hope for all who put their trust in Him.’
Pastors Isaac Sunkwah Nikessen (Gyahadzie District Minister), Pastor Bismark Aidan (Apam District Minister), and Pastor Prince Duvorn (Winneba Area Evangelism Leader) also ministered at the crusade. Apostle James Oko Bannor (Ejisu Area Head) also ministered at the crusade. God, through the various ministrations, manifested His power at the crusade.
The Senya Beraku District Evangelism Leader, Elder Michael Abbew Jackson, assured that aggressive follow-up strategies have been put in place to track and maintain all the souls won for effective discipleship.
