The Axim Area of The Church of Pentecost has acquired eight chargeable public address (PA) systems to strengthen evangelism activities across the Area as part of efforts to advance the church’s “Possessing the Nations” agenda.
The presentation of the equipment took place on May 1, 2026, under the leadership of the Area Head, Apostle Daniel Mireku Gyamera, during a brief ceremony at the Area Mission House.
The initiative forms part of the church’s 2026 theme, “The Church Unleashed to Transform the Society through the Gospel and the Power of the Holy Spirit,” and is aimed at enhancing the Area’s “Operation Takeover the Market” evangelism campaign.
Addressing ministers, officers, and members present at the event, Apostle Gyamera urged the church to intensify efforts in spreading the gospel, particularly during market days when large crowds gather in various communities.
Referencing Romans 15:19, he noted that just as Apostle Paul testified to fully preaching the gospel from Jerusalem to Illyricum through the power of the Holy Spirit, the church today must also ensure that every part of the Axim Area is reached with the message of Christ.
He further encouraged Zonal Leaders and evangelism teams to sustain the momentum of market evangelism and also prepare mobile baptistries to facilitate immediate baptisms for converts.
According to him, although the Area has recorded significant gains in soul-winning and church growth, there are still more communities to reach and more souls to be won for Christ.
While handing over the equipment to the Area Evangelism Ministry, Apostle Gyamera admonished users to handle the PA systems responsibly and ensure their effective use for kingdom advancement.
Receiving the items on behalf of the ministry, the Area Evangelism Leader, Pastor Isaac Asamoah Aduhene, expressed gratitude to the Area leadership and assured them that the equipment would be used diligently to achieve impactful evangelistic results.
The event was attended by a section of the Area Executive Committee, Area Market Evangelism Coordinators, Zonal Leaders, the Area Schools Outreach Coordinator, and Mrs. Esther Salasi Ossom, wife of the Elubo District Minister.
The acquisition of the chargeable PA systems is expected to boost open-air and market evangelism activities throughout the Area, especially in communities where access to electricity remains a challenge.
