Mrs Juanita Nuekpe, wife of the La Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has called on all and sundry still uncertain in their faith to turn to Jesus Christ, whom she described as the ultimate redeemer and transformer of lives.
She delivered the message during the Easter Convention at Alajo Park on April 3, 2026, held under the theme: “He is risen that I may transform my society through the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Drawing on John 10:10, Mrs Nuekpe highlighted the stark contrast between the mission of Satan and that of Christ. While the enemy seeks only to steal, kill and destroy, she noted, Jesus came to offer life in abundance.
She portrayed Jesus as the Lamb of God, slain for humanity, and the only one with the authority to redeem and restore broken destinies.
Referencing the account of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5, Mrs Nuekpe recounted how twelve years of pain and rejection ended in a single encounter with Christ. By touching the hem of His garment, the woman’s dignity was restored and her life transformed.
She also cited the story of the demon-possessed man in Mark 5:1–5, who lived in torment until his meeting with Jesus brought complete restoration. According to her, these examples demonstrate that no condition lies beyond God’s power to heal.
Mrs Nuekpe cautioned against the belief that certain afflictions are permanent or inherited, stressing that all of God’s creation was good and perfect.
Sharing her own testimony, she recalled a period when much of her salary was consumed by medical bills for a persistent illness. Relief came, she said, when her doctor advised her to “add Jesus to her medications.” That moment marked a turning point, leading to what she described as divine intervention.
In closing, she urged all present to break free from whatever holds them captive and to run to Jesus, affirming that He alone has the power to change lives, restore hope and transform destinies.
Among those in attendance were the Area Head, Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe; Alajo District Minister, Pastor Godwin and Mrs Esther Ako-Addo; Avenor District Minister, Pastor Joseph and Mrs Veronica Boakye, among others.
