A deep love for Jesus Christ and a strong burden for the spiritual welfare of children have yielded remarkable results for 34-year-old Brother Isaac Osafo Hene of the Airport Assembly (Aboabo), Oforikrom District in the Bompata Area of The Church of Pentecost.
In 2025, through intentional and consistent child evangelism, Brother Osafo won and retained 32 children for the Lord at Nima Moke, a suburb of Aboabo. His outreach, which focused on sharing the gospel and nurturing the young converts, reflects a practical demonstration of the Church’s vision to raise a new generation grounded in Christ.
The initiative aligns with the Church’s “Win, Wean and Unleash” agenda, which seeks to win and retain one million children, disciple them intentionally, and equip them to become transformative agents in every sphere of society. By not only leading the children to Christ but also ensuring their retention and growth in the faith, Brother Osafo has contributed meaningfully to this broader vision.
His efforts underscore the impact of personal evangelism when driven by a genuine passion for the Great Commission. Through regular engagement, teaching, and follow-up, the children have been integrated into the life of the Church and are being nurtured in sound Christian doctrine and practice.
The achievement also highlights the importance of intentional ministry among children as a strategic avenue for sustainable church growth. By investing time and energy in the younger generation, Brother Osafo has demonstrated that child evangelism remains a vital tool in advancing the Kingdom of God.
As the Church continues to pursue its transformative agenda, stories such as this serve as a reminder that individual commitment and obedience to Christ’s mandate can produce lasting impact. Brother Isaac Osafo Hene’s dedication stands as an encouragement to members to actively participate in the mission of winning souls and nurturing them for lifelong service to God.
