As part of The Church of Pentecost’s Gospel Sunday initiative, the Kotobabi District in La Area, Accra, held an evangelistic outreach dubbed ‘Jesus to the Street’ on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
The event served as a living expression of Christ’s love and compassion, with a focus on reaching individuals in the streets, especially those often overlooked or marginalised. The goal was to take the gospel beyond the church walls and make the name of Jesus known throughout the community.
The well organised outreached, led by the District Minister, Pastor Samuel Yeboah Asare, and his wife, Eunice, was fully participated by the presiding elders, ministry leaders and members of the church. Church members mobilised across key areas including Kotobabi Ebony, Dzowulu, and the Pig Farm market, engaging people with the life-changing message of salvation.
Participants shared gospel tracts and Christian literature with individuals from diverse religious backgrounds, delivering the good news with sincerity and purpose. The event was both a spiritual mission and a humanitarian act, reinforcing the church’s commitment to soul-winning and community transformation.
‘Jesus to the Street’ is one of several community-centred initiatives by the Kotobabi District, designed to reflect Christ’s heart for the lost and spark revival through the power of the Gospel.
