In a remarkable acknowledgement of his service and dedication to faith and leadership, Apostle Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng, the Kwadaso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost and Coordinator for the Ashanti Regional Co-ordinating Committee of the church, has been honoured as the Outstanding Religious Leader in the Ashanti Region.

Apostle Adjei-Kwarteng received the prestigious award at the Carrier Excellence Awards 2025, an event organised by the Domfo Helper Foundation to recognise individuals and organisations making significant contributions to society.

Initially invited as the preacher for the occasion, Apostle Adjei-Kwarteng was caught by surprise when he was announced as the winner of the Outstanding Religious Leader category. The unexpected honour was met with cheers and admiration from attendees, reflecting the immense impact of his ministry and leadership in the region.

Speaking in an interview with Pent Radio 100.1FM in Kumasi, Apostle Adjei-Kwarteng expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for recognising his efforts. He stated that the award was unexpected but deeply appreciated, as it serves as an encouragement to continue the prestigious work of God.

Beyond his gratitude, the Kwadaso Area Head used the platform to address a significant issue concerning religious leadership and governance. He urged fellow ministers of the Gospel to adopt respectful and constructive approaches when advising and criticising government and national leaders. He cautioned against public criticism, advising that addressing leaders with wisdom and diplomacy is crucial in fostering unity and positive change.

Apostle Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng’s recognition highlights his unwavering commitment to both his faith and societal development. The award not only cements his influence as a leader but also serves as an inspiration to other religious figures to remain steadfast in their service to both God and humanity.
