A total of eighty-eight (88) persons have been ordained as officers of The Church of Pentecost in the Ho Area. The ordination was held during the first Area mega all-night service held on Friday February 6, 2026, at the El-Bethel Prayer Centre, Ho. The officers ordained consisted of 28 Elders, 36 Deaconesses and 24 Deacons.
Speaking on the topic, “Impact beyond the church Walls” (Jeremiah 20:7-10, Titus 2:11-12, John 7:37-38), the Area Head, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo stated that the power of the Gospel goes beyond the church walls and must move into all spheres of society. He indicated that the Gospel is so powerful that it must be released into the dying world and save it from the corruption that has engulfed it.
According to Apostle Agyei Kwafo, the Gospel is the fire of God that quickens believers, giving them new fire, new anointing and a fresh revival, saying that “the Gospel even has the power to reschedule the death date of a person.”
“The Gospel grants us physical salvation, which entails healing, protection from the hands of Satan, liberation from poverty; spiritual salvation and eternal salvation, delivering the sinner from eternal death”, he indicated.
He charged all Christians who have this power in them and on their lips to preach to all people; colleagues at work, people we meet in public transports, marketplaces and all walks of life.
Whiles ordaining the officers, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo charged the ordained officers not to just add up to the numbers but work hard to support the kingdom business and help lift the Area from its current state to glorious heights.
In attendance at the services were the wife of the Area Head, Mrs Agartha Agyei Kwafo, the Area Pastorate and their wives, Elder Seth Yaw Peasah, leader of El-Bethel Prayer Centre, and officers in the Area with a total attendance of about 3,400 members.
