Church buildings are glorious landmarks in communities, symbolising God’s dwelling among His people. This conviction aligns with the Area Head of Sawla Area, Apostle Frederick Obboh’s vision to end church meetings under trees and ensure every community has a permanent place of worship. As part of the November Communion Week, Apostle Obboh dedicated the newly completed church buildings in the Kalba District.
The Badatein Church Building, the largest in the zone, was initiated in 2023 and completed in 2025, with full sponsorship from the Area. The Saru Church Building, established in 2001, has undergone significant development, with the current building dedicated on December 6, 2025, sponsored by Mr Richard and Mrs Faustina Bondzie. The Jochintein Church Building, opened in 2015, was also completed and dedicated on December 6, 2025, sponsored by Mrs Abigail Boakye Acheampong.
Apostle Obboh’s message emphasised the need for God’s work to progress in all seasons, drawing lessons from Haggai. Overseer Seth Badu reminded members to prioritize God’s work, avoid complacency, and contribute to the church’s growth. The events were attended by Apostle Frederick Obboh, ministers, church leaders, and congregants, who expressed gratitude to stakeholders and prayed for God’s blessings.
The District Minister thanked all involved in the projects’ completion, reflecting the church’s commitment to spreading the gospel and building strong communities.
