The Pentecost University Chaplaincy has successfully concluded the third edition of its annual transformative leadership bootcamp, dubbed “Bootcamp 3.0.”
Held from June 19 to 22, 2025, at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), the camp was organised under the leadership of Overseer Dr. Patrick Lebene Adonoo, the University Chaplain. The event brought together 147 student leaders, all eager to grow and excel in godly leadership both on campus and beyond.
This year’s bootcamp focused on the theme “The Spirit of Excellence” (Daniel 5:1–14), aimed at equipping participants both spiritually and practically for kingdom-minded leadership in the church, on campus, and in their future careers.
The camp opened with a spiritually charged 10-hour overnight prayer marathon, setting a tone of deep consecration and surrender to God. Each day was marked by worship, fervent prayer, insightful biblical teachings, and spiritual impartations.
In the pursuit of deeper excellence, participants were taught by seasoned ministers including Rev. Bernard Twumasi-Yeboah, Pastor Precious James, and Elder Solomon Kwao. Their sessions delivered thought-provoking and life-transforming teachings designed to shape a lifestyle of intentional and impactful leadership.
Participants were challenged to cultivate three dimensions of personal growth in leadership—hindsight, learning from the past; insight, discerning the present; and foresight, wisely preparing for the future.
One of the standout teachings addressed three key “capitals” essential for sustained success: trust, the gift of men, and financial resources. Trust, described as the foundation of all meaningful relationships and effective leadership, was emphasised as the most crucial. “The gift of men” highlighted the importance of recognising people as divine connectors to destiny, opportunities, and support systems. Financial resources, though necessary, were positioned as the most accessible of the three and must be stewarded with wisdom.
Bootcamp 3.0 ended on a high note, filled with joy, gratitude, and renewed commitment to excellence. Pentecost University reaffirmed its vision of raising leaders who embody the spirit of excellence and are prepared to make lasting impacts in their communities, the church, and the world at large.
