The Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) of the La Area of The Church of Pentecost has honoured Elder Nana Barima Acheampong Sarpong II for his dedicated service as a member of the Area Executive Committee and Assistant Area Leader from 2022 to 2023.
The appreciation service, held at the Dr. Wyatt Assembly, was attended by several dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Apostle Dr. Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe (La Area Head and Executive Council Member), Apostle Kingsley Addai (Resident Minister, PIWC-Kokomlemle), the Area PEMEM Executive Committee, and other distinguished guests.
As part of the event, Elder Sarpong II delivered an exhortation titled “Unleashed with the Knowledge of Wealth Creation for Total Transformation”, based on Deuteronomy 8:18.
In his message, he emphasised the value of time management, proper use of human resources, hard work, orderliness, discipline, good character, and faithfulness in tithing as foundational principles for creating wealth.
He defined riches as “the ability to use wealth to produce goods and services,” noting that money is merely the result of such productive activity. He further challenged the men to become solution-givers, using prayer and diligence to make meaningful impact.
In presenting a citation of honour, Apostle Dr. Nuekpe praised Elder Sarpong II for his outstanding service and acknowledged the vital role his family played in his success.
He encouraged all men to build strong, godly families and to serve the Lord faithfully with the assurance of eternal rewards.
