The Women’s Ministry of the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost organised a food exhibition on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Central Assembly auditorium as part of efforts to invigorate the ministry.
During the event, all seven (7) local assemblies in the district showcased a variety of dishes, primarily traditional meals. These included fufu with light soup, konkonte with groundnut soup, tuo zaafi, nuhuu, banku with okro stew, rice and stew, and ampesie with kontomire stew, garnished with sliced pear, onions, and eggs.
The dishes were evaluated by Mrs. Joana Amoakowaah Adubofourh Asiedu, wife of the District Minister, alongside Deaconess Bernice Apraku, the District Women’s Leader, her Executive Members, and members of the District Executive Committee.
In a brief exhortation, Mrs. Adubofourh Asiedu encouraged mothers to impart cooking skills to their children, particularly their daughters, emphasising the importance of home training.
Following the exhibition, the prepared dishes were shared with attendees.
