In a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere, the Tema Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the inspired leadership of Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, held a transformative three-day Pre-Easter Residential Retreat for all ministers and their spouses within the Area.

The retreat, held from Wednesday, April 9 to Friday, April 11, 2025, took place at the Jesus Power Retreat Centre.

With the compelling theme, “He is not here, He is Risen” (Luke 24:6), the retreat called attendees to reflect, revive, and realign their ministry with the living Christ. The event served as a spiritual recharge, offering an opportunity for ministers to deepen their communion with God through prayer, fellowship, and the undiluted Word of God.

Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, who also serves as an Executive Council Member of the Church, delivered profound teachings on the central theme, unpacking the theological and practical significance of the Resurrection. His powerful message encouraged ministers to live and serve in the victorious reality of the empty tomb.

In his final sermon, “Go to the Courts,” Apostle Djani urged ministers to extend the influence of the Kingdom beyond church walls into governance, justice systems, and public institutions.

Other seasoned ministers enriched the retreat with impactful messages:

Pastor Kwaku Ofori of Redemption Valley District spoke on “The Benefits of the Resurrection,” illuminating the spiritual, emotional, and eternal blessings derived from Christ’s triumph over death.

Pastor Seth Attah Baffour of Community Four District reignited the sacredness of divine calling in his sermon, “The Call of God,” challenging ministers to remain steadfast in their vocation.

Pastor Samuel Koomson of PIWC- Tema shared practical insights on “Opportunities,” urging attendees to discern and seize divine opportunities, even amidst challenges, for the Kingdom advancement.

The retreat featured soul-lifting worship sessions, fervent intercessory prayers, and deep fellowship. Pastoralia sessions provided a platform for open discussions on ministry challenges, marriage, and mental well-being.

The serene and prayerful environment of the Jesus Power Retreat Centre amplified the impact of the programme, allowing participants to disconnect from daily demands and focus on their spiritual rejuvenation.

The retreat saw wholehearted participation, including Mrs. Mary Atsupe Djani, the Area Head’s wife. It was a time of divine visitation, where marriages were fortified, hearts were renewed, and ministers were reoriented toward their mission.

As the retreat concluded, the prevailing proclamation echoed by all was: “He is not here; He is Risen.” Strengthened and inspired, the ministers of Tema Area committed to advancing the gospel with fresh zeal — in pulpits, in courts, in communities, and every sphere of influence.
