The Regent of Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region, Elder Nii Annang Adjor, continues to address social, economic, and developmental challenges in his community.
As part of his #StopRed campaign, Elder Nii Adjor visited The Church of Pentecost on Sunday, April 13, 2025, to advise the youth against the popular drug known as ‘Red,’ which has become an addiction for some youth in Ashaiman despite its severe complications. The chief used the occasion to formally invite the church to participate in the campaign launch scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
During his visit, Elder Nii Adjor highlighted the dangers of drug abuse, emphasising that this year’s initiative targets school children. He also stressed the importance of parents guiding their children away from harmful influences to help them grow into responsible adults.
Nii Annang Adjor has been involved in various initiatives, including road safety awareness and community development projects. The Ashaiman Area of The Church of Pentecost has previously shown support for the chief’s initiatives, including donating 200 bags of cement to the palace building project in 2020.
