The Pentecost Social Services (PENTSOS), the social intervention arm of The Church of Pentecost, continues to uphold its mission of initiating, promoting, developing, and managing impactful social services and projects aimed at transforming lives.
In line with this mandate, PENTSOS embarked on a significant outreach initiative in the Tema Area, providing vital support to members in need.
As part of the programme, a variety of essential items valued at thousands of Ghana Cedis were donated, demonstrating the Church’s unwavering commitment to holistic empowerment.
In a unique gesture, beneficiaries were encouraged to invite two or three individuals to participate in free vocational training, fully sponsored by the Church. This provision ensures that the life-changing opportunity reaches even more people within the community.
The event formed part of the Pentecost Social Services – Graduate Expansion Project, during which key vocational equipment was donated. These included industrial sewing machines, knitting machines, hair dryers, drilling and cutting machines, welding and cutting tools, washing basins and chairs, as well as a brand-new container worth GHC 60,000. These resources aim to foster self-sufficiency and support sustainable income generation.
The occasion was graced by esteemed leaders of the Church, including Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani (Tema Area Head) and his wife, Mrs. Mary Atsupe Djani; Overseer Benjamin Asare Yeboah (PENTSOS Director); Elder Dr. Henry Hackman (Area PENTSOS Chairman); and Pastor Sampson Gavor-Dzefe (Area PENTSOS Coordinator).
Other ministers, their spouses, and Area Presbyters were also present, adding significance and support to the initiative.
